Why, hello there!

I can feel these days slipping away. My big girl is five. FIVE! When did that happen?! We are at the start of a very...experimental...journey. We are homeschooling! I had wanted this for so long, I really had. But as the time inched closer and closer, the call of public school could be heard louder and louder. The convenience! The fun! The friends! But...we forged ahead with our homeschooling convictions, and here we are.

{And the truth? We're all really enjoying it!}

But seeing my baby grow up is hard. She lost her first tooth. She is talking boys. She started playing soccer {and scored her first goal!}. I am watching her watch me. She is growing up before my eyes. I can't tell you how bittersweet it is. So wonderful to see her coming into her person. But it's not easy losing her either.

Anyway, on that note....

My big girl and I made a treat! I didn't have a recipe, only an idea. So here you go:









I have no clue what to call it? I told Zee that we were making Chocolate Candy Corn Popcorn. So I guess that's what I'll continue to call it? I haven't tried it yet...it's still in the fridge. The two littlies are napping {and Zee put Mae down for her nap, all on her own, while I was getting AJ down for her nap}, and my big girl is currently licking out the bowl of chocolate.

That's a successful day in our home.

Oh, and I hear the door upstairs creaking open.
